Royal Trinity Hospice is the only dedicated end of life care provider for 750,000 people living across seven central and south west London boroughs. Its vision is to be the local hospice of choice for those who need it and an example of excellence in end of life care.
Each year, Trinity provides skilled and compassionate care, free of charge, to over 2,500 patients with terminal illnesses and their loved ones. The community nursing team give specialist care to patients wherever they call home. For those who need more support, they 24-hour care in our friendly and welcoming inpatient centre in Clapham. They also offer a wide range of day services for patients, families and carers, including counselling, welfare and financial advice, exercise classes, physiotherapy, social groups, bereavement support and art therapy.
Our ageing population means that there are increasing numbers of people living with a terminal illness and many more people are seeking our care. As a registered charity, only a quarter of its core costs are funded by the NHS and they on the generosity of our supporters to provide the best possible service to our patients and their families. We only get one chance to get it right for those who are dying and they aim to ensure people receive high quality end of life care when and wherever they need it.
