It’s not just entry that’s FREE for the majority of time at Winterville, we’ve also got loads of free entertainment.

1. Join The Soul Train

South London Soul Train promise the best soul and funk party in South London on Friday 1st December, with DJ Jazzheadchronic Mickey Smith & Snowboy.

2. Sing Your Heart Out

Singalong to the greatest anthems of all time with Massoake’s brilliant live band. Lyrics are on the big screen! It’s part of Guilty Pleasures set on December 2nd.

3. Entertain The Kids For Free

Between 2.15pm and 3.45pm on Dec 2 and Dec 9 you’ll find carefully curated festive family fun in LittleBird’s Kid’s Quarter.  Children can learn a new circus skill, create sparkling Christmas decorations and get a glitter tattoo from one of Santa’s elves!

4. Experience A Bingo Like No Other

Indeedy Musical Bingo is nothing like normal bingo. Expect dancing grannies and prizes ranging from inflatable dinosaurs to vintage records on Saturday 2nd December.

5. Walk Your Dog

Not many festivals allow dogs inside, but we do before 5pm every day as long as they’re on a lead.

6. Get In The Christmas Spirit

The Winterville Mini Orchestra & Christmas Choir features strings, brass section and drummer, who will perform an alternative festive set of your favourite Christmas songs in the Spiegeltent. Come with us on a musical journey on 17th December and 22nd December consisting of everything from The Pogues to The Pretenders, with a bit of Wham and Mariah thrown in for good measure.

7. Enjoy Bugged Out! In A Pub

Every Friday Bugged Out’s pop disco offshoot sets the soundtrack in our on-site pub. And you might even witness one of the Winterville founders behind the decks!

8. Enjoy The Light Show

Winterville is covered with neon signs that some to life at night.

9. Get Jiggy

If there’s a better hip hop show in London we don’t know of one than Gin ‘n’ Juice. Join us for their free set on Dec 8.

10. Remember George Michael At Christmas

Have you ever been to a night entirely dedicated to George Michael? Paul Simper plays pure George, Wham! and George’s influences. Sunday 17th December promises to be a glorious night!

11. Dance To A DJ Set From The Man Who Sang Come On Eileen

The frontman of Dexy turns his hands to the decks in Bar Humbug on 21st December and plays soul stompers, Glam rock and Philly edits. He’s also known to pick up the mic and singalong if the feeling takes him!

12. Enjoy The Warm-Up To Bananarama

Currently on tour with Bananarama, Neil has a night off, so he decided to pop along and play Bar Humbug on Sunday 3rd December.

13. Singalong With A Gospel Choir

Match your music knowledge to win prizes with Musical Bingo on 16th December, who welcome the capital’s first gospel-style karaoke, Gospeloke who give you the chance to perform alongside an urban choir! Think Sister Act meets old School Assembly via Top of the Pops.

14. Encounter An (All) Saint At Christmas

R&She’s all-female R&B night is headlined by Melanie Blatt and apparently lots of saints will be in attendance for this free gig on Dec 15.

15. Indulge In Guilty Pleasures

London’s longest-running pop night takes over three nights in our Spiegeltent (Dec 2, 16 & 19), with special guests Gospeloke, Massoake and The LipSinkers joining the Guilty Pleasures Crew.

16. See Christmas In With A Gospel Choir

The Jazz Café regulars will send you into Christmas with a soulful smile on the day before Christmas Eve in the Spiegeltent.

17. Get In The Swing Of It

The Fabulous Lounge Swingers are a knees-up swing band, performing monster mash-ups and unique covers on December 3rd in the Spiegeltent.
