It’s only a few days before Christmas, but we have plenty of entertainment on offer before Christmas Eve.

The Dexys frontman who we’re not allowed to mention once sung ‘Come on Eileen’ drops soul stompers, Glam Rock and Philly edits on Thursday night in Bar Humbug.

2. Get Festive With Our Choir

The Winterville Orchestra & Choir makes their final appearance of the festive period. Get ready to sing along to Christmas classics from The Pogues to The Pretenders.

3. Celebrate Girl Power

Join Girl Power for a night of DJs, drag queens and dancing!

4. Embrace Christmas

Miles Metric (Guilty Pleasures) sets the soundtrack for our Christmas Spectacular on the night before Christmas Eve! Get in the festive mood and join us in the Spiegeltent for a night of singing along to Christmas crackers.

5. Party Like You’re A Parrot

Our final DJ set before Christmas sees Bar Humbug resident Karistocat (Girl Power) debut her new night ‘Parrots Vs Dachshunds’ with Hard Room tour DJ Gilgamesh. Expect crowd pleasers, Christmas classics and plenty of tinsel and sparkle.

6. Enjoy The Final Little Bugger From Bugged Out!

The final Friday from Bugged Out’s pop disco offshoot sets the soundtrack in our on-site pub.

7. Taste Gourmet Burgers

Not just one, but two of the burgers at Winterville have made it into the Best 15 Christmas Burgers in the capital this festive period.

8. Visit Narnia

Step through the wardrobe and meet an elf, drink tea with a faun, laugh with a lion, sneak past the White Queen and make a reindeer disguise you can take home to keep. Unique experience involves games and craft making, while interacting with actors as the children move from immersive room to immersive room.

9. Go Skating

Our Ice Rink and Roller Disco are open all weekend. Get involved.

10. Encounter A Mountain Dragon

Mimi & The Mountain Dragon is a magical winter adventure full of snow, dragons, lively songs, magical puppets and plenty of audience interaction from Michael Morpugo, the writer of War Horse.

11. Singalong With A Gospel Choir

The Jazz Café regulars will send you into Christmas with a soulful smile.
